The Magpie Cottage is an ideal destination for individuals or small groups looking for a wellness retreat, or simply those individuals looking for a relaxing break with some yoga,meditation and wellness programs. The Magpie Cottage’s location is in a serene and calm environment amidst nature, making it ideal for quiet sit-outs and connecting with one’sinner self.

Guests can focus on their Yoga postures (asanas) with our experienced Yoga teacher, practice meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), and take advantage of the stunning natural setting of the jungle and a beautiful stream.

Guests can enjoy treks to the jungle, explore the villages, enjoy solitude in this pristine environment, enjoy home cooked Satvik food or bring in your own provisions and use the kitchen as per your choice.

 

MAGPIE COTTAGE

You will feel the energy flowing through as soon as you arrive at the Magpie cottage. Located in the outskirts of Sonanadi Sanctuary, the cottage consist of cozy lounge with a dining table, an open terrace opening on to the Forest and the stream in a distance.

The Magpie Cottage has with 3 cozy rooms with all modern facilities and baths with running hot water.

With the Dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor. Guest are encouraged to bring their own provisions if they wish to prepare home style food, with our helpers ever ready to assist.

The place is perfect for weekend get always, families or individuals looking for a quiet break or for family, small CEO level corporate retreats and get-togethers.

The Cottage is surrounded with a jungle feel atmosphere, tranquility of the wild, chatter of birds, away from the humdrum of city life making it a perfect home for writers, creative artists, and birdwatchersor nature lovers.

SONANADI SANCTUARY

The Sonanadi Sanctuary situated at the edge of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, with Rajaji National Park on the other side. The Sanctuary gets its name from The Sona River. This Northern Indian tropical forests, is home to a mix of tree species of Sal, Sheesham, Semul, Bakli, Amla, Jamun, Fig, and Bamboo.

The Sonanadi Sanctuary attracts over 500 species of birds making it ideal birdwatching destination. Listed below are a few of the Birds and Wild life found
